Most online users believe the Internet is “FREE.” It is true; we pay for our Mobile, Home, and Business connections to receive “FREE” Internet content. On occasion, the connection is “FREE” as a public service.

The real question “who is paying for the cost of FREE internet services? You may already know the answer.

Internet Entrepreneurs and Businesses are alive and well, providing their services through FREE connections to generate revenue in the form of advertising and other means – capturing audiences or subscriptions via paying “Contents.”

Image accessing the Internet as if you are driving a car (your browser) on a freeway (your internet link) to a targeted destination (website) that has the information you want. How fast you can reach it will be determined by how many “FREE” Internet content and advertisements filled your browser? Bonus, it can be voices, video, and music.

In the early days, we fought “Malware” (malicious software), because it has a malicious intent to steal your identity and make a profit from it.

Today’s excessive free advertisements are not only annoying; they clog up your browser and consume your mobile data subscription. It’s a convenient disguise of ill-intentioned Malware waiting for you to click on it.

There is a security software to help us identify, prevent, and remove Malware with only a few major accomplishments in managing “Free Internet Contents,” until now – Microsoft has stepped up to the plate.

Updates You Need to Know.

Since Windows 10, Microsoft has positioned Edge as the future browser across the OS platforms of desktop, tablet, and mobile phones. In June 2020, Microsoft confirmed its integration with Adblock Plus into its Edge browser for iOS and Android to stop intrusive advertisements and trackers from spoiling your browsing.

Edge is a newcomer to Android. It’s been available on Android phones since October 2017 and is available to iOS and Android tablets as of March 2018. Microsoft’s commitment is significant, fostering the direction of approved content Internet browsing, and advocating identity and privacy protection of Internet communications, especially for mobile computing.

  • It is a necessary step to protect and clean up “FREE” Internet content.

Many of us remain to pre-windows10 choices when it comes to mobile devices. Now that Edge is available and comes with built-in ad blocking with AdBlock plus for mobiles, don’t you think it is time to give Edge Mobile a try?

  • I do, and I hope you do too.

Where to Start?

You can download AdBlock Plus of Window from Window Store; it installs as an extension to Edge on Windows. Download Edge for iOS or Android; it comes with the AdBlock Plus.
